Here is a very nice specimen of Petrified Wood slab from Madagascar.
This large beautiful slab has a very nice wood grain highlights mixed in
around the various rich Red, Tan, Brown and Black colors with a very
different composition. It has a very rough and rugged outside edge
adding to it's personality. There are also some neat crystal and cavity
areas adding to it's beauty. The lovely piece has a good polish on both
the sides bringing out the unique character of this specimen. The
petrified wood measures 17 1/8" x 15 3/8" x 1" thick and weighs
over 16 lbs.

where all the organic materials have been replaced with minerals while
retaining the original structure of the wood. These minerals are most
often Silicates such as Quartz. Other minerals, Manganese, Iron and
Copper, in the water or mud during the petrification process gives
Petrified Wood a variety of color ranges: black - Carbon; green/blue -
Copper; red/brown/yellow - Iron. Petrified Wood can preserve the original

PETRIFIED PALM WOOD
Here is a beautiful and unique specimen of Petrified Palm Wood
from Burma (Myanmar). This slab has a very nice Palm Wood grain
design with a great mix of Brown, Beige, and White colors. It has a very
rough and even jagged outside edge that only addS to the awesome character
of the petrified wood. The piece has an excellent polish on one side
bringing out the very unique attributes of this specimen. It measures 11 5/8" x 9 1/4" x 1/2" thick and weighs nearly just
over 3 lbs. An

colors with lots various other colored accents that bring out
the grains off the wood. This fabulous slab is highly polished on both

ARIZONA PETRIFIED WOOD
This is an exceptionally nice Petrified Wood slab from Arizona.
The fabulous Petrifed Wood has nice rich reds and various grays with a multitude of accent colors and a neat
natural texture on the unpolished edge surfaces. The very colorful petrified wood measures
16" x nearly 12" x 1 1/8" thick; weighs 15 1/2 pounds and has a smooth,
highly polished face. This gorgeous piece was cut and polished in
our own lapidary department.

ARIZONA PETRIFIED WOOD
Here is a very nice specimen of Petrified Wood
from Arizona. This gorgeous specimen has a nice mix of colors found only
in Arizona Petrified Wood including various Reds, Grays with Cream and
Black accents. The piece has a smooth
high polish on the top surface bringing out the unique character of this specimen.
The petrified wood measures 10" x 8 1/8" x almost 2 1/4" thick and weighs
nearly 8 1/2 lbs. This piece was cut and polished in our own
lapidary department.

INDONESIA PETRIFIED WOOD
Here is a gorgeous specimen of Petrified Wood from Indonesia.
Petrified Wood is fossilized from trees in the Oligocene Epoch, between 20 to 40
million years ago. This wonderful piece has nice wood grain
highlights mixed in around the Reddish, Tan and Light Brown colors with an
attractive design. It has very detailed wood grain and an
interesting texture on the outer "tree bark" edges. The very pretty
slab has a nice polish on both faces and plenty of character
throughout. The colorful petrified wood slab measures almost 14 1/8" x 13
1/4"
x 7/8" thick and weighs almost 10 3/8 lbs. Our pictures don't do this
fabulous specimen proper justice.
